Walgreens ending 24-hour service in Bullhead City

May 17, 2019

BULLHEAD CITY — The Walgreens store at 2560 Highway 95 in Bullhead City is reducing its hours and no longer will be open around the clock.

Starting Thursday, May 23, new hours for the store and its pharmacy will be 7 a.m. -11 p.m.

A store employee referred inquiries to Walgreen Company, the store’s parent company based in Deerfield, Illinois. It had 9,560 stores operating in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin islands as of mid-2018.

“Occasionally we change the hours of opera Save and close tions at our locations to continue best serving the needs of the community,” said Alexandra Brown, manager of corporate media relations for the Walgreen Company.

The Bullhead City store opened in August 1996 and became a 24-hour operation in February 2009, Brown said.
