R&B singer Leon Bridges books show at Jacobs Pavilion

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- R&B artist Leon Bridges is headed to Cleveland next year.

The “Bad Bad News” signer has booked a May 5 concert date at Jacobs Pavilion in the Flats. English singer-songwriter Jess Glynne is the opening act.

Bridges, who recently played to packed houses in Los Angeles and New York City, broke out in 2015, recording the single “Smooth Sailing” and his debut album, the Grammy-nominated “Coming Home.” His second album, “Coming Home” is certified gold and features his latest single, “If It Feels Good (Then It Must Be).”

The Cleveland show will be Bridges’ last stop on his 2019 tour, which kicks off in April in Charlottesville, Virginia. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Oct. 5.
