Suspects break into vehicles in Missouri City

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information concerning a burglary of a vehicle in the Creekstone subdivision in the Missouri City area.

A resident called the Sheriff’s Office in the early morning hours of Aug. 12 to report he found his glovebox and center console were open in the 5600 block of Granite Falls Lane

The resident went into his home and reviewed his home surveillance and found that at 4:12 a.m., a black male subject wearing a hoodie walked up to his car and opened it.

The victim said he also observed another suspect in a hoodie walking by with a backpack. He also noticed one other subject walking through the frame of the camera.

The suspect is about 6-feet tall and has a slender build. He appeared to weigh about 160 pounds.

The other suspect appeared to be about 5-feet, 6-inches tall and was heavy-set.

“I guarantee you someone knows these people,” said Sheriff Troy Nehls. “In this case, they didn’t get any goods, but they kept on walking, looking for other victims. Someone out there can make some cash the easy way by calling Crime Stoppers.”
