Boat, RV, outdoor show returns Friday
All-terrain vehicles, recreational vehicles, food, music and boats as far as the eye can see will set the view and atmosphere for the third annual Western Michigan Boat, RV, Outdoor and Home Show.
The Ludington Daily News will hosts the show for the third year in a row around the Ludington Municipal Marina Friday through Sunday, Sept. 7-9.
With hundreds of boats and a bountiful amount of ATVs and RVs, there’s something for everyone; from the most serious boater and outdoorsperson to someone who is just getting their feet wet, pun intended.
“Everything from used to brand new,” said Daily News Show Operations Administrator Steve Leedham.
Most models will be new — 2018 or 2019 — with many closeout specials available to make room for the new year’s models.
“We’ll have pontoons, runabouts, aluminum fishing boats and sailboats, and we’re hoping some dealers bring center console fishing boats,” Leedham said.
The show will be set up across numerous city streets for the pedestrian traffic and boat/RV/ATV-viewing — William Street from Filer to Loomis streets, Loomis Street from Robert west to Lewis streets and Filer Street from Robert to William.
There will be some in-water boats as well, along the north wall of Ludington City Marina.
Vendors and food trucks as well as live entertainment will be part of the fun, too.
Entertainment will be provided by Cheryl Wolfram, Fremont John and Two Dudes in Flip Flops.
Show hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
