Cambria Somerset Authority approves emergency repairs

The Cambria Somerset Authority board met Thursday. Here’s a brief of the group’s business:

Approved $4,426.26 in payments from the emergency repair fund to Laurel Management Co., of Johnstown, for three repairs: $2,388.76 to fix leaks in the Border Pipeline, $679.50 to fix a leak along Franklin Hill and $1,358 to fix other leaks in the Border Pipeline.Approved a payment of $11,166.26 from the emergency repair fund to ARM EnerTech Associates, of Johnstown, for a system upgrade. The system lets officials monitor the authority’s properties remotely.Approved an audit draft by Kotzan CPA & Associates, of Johnstown, for 2017 and 2018.
