LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ Marques Maybin scored 19 points, including seven straight late in the second half, as Louisville upset No. 3 Kentucky 83-74 Saturday.

It was the second straight year the Cardinals (5-2) upset Kentucky. Last year, Louisville beat the Wildcats 79-76 at Rupp Arena.

Kentucky (10-3), which was coming off a 71-60 loss to second-ranked Duke Tuesday, has lost two straight for the first time since 1994.

Cameron Murray and Tony Williams each added 14 points for Louisville, which forced Kentucky into 18 turnovers and harassed the Wildcats into 2-of-15 shooting on 3-pointers.

Scott Padgett led Kentucky with 13 points.

No. 16 Clemson 67, Furman 54

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ Harold Jamison had 16 points and 16 rebounds, and Vincent Whitt scored 11 of his 13 points in the second half as Clemson beat Furman.

Jamison was 7-of-10 from the field for the Tigers (11-1), who beat the Paladins (6-4) for the 23rd straight time. It was the first basketball game at the Bi-Lo Center, a $63 million arena that opened in September.

Stanislav Makshantsev scored 18 points for Furman.
