Two George Mason Players Suspended
FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) _ Two George Mason basketball players, including leading scorer Nate Langley, were suspended indefinitely Wednesday after being declared academically ineligible.
Junior guard Langley, last season’s Rookie of the Year in the Colonial Athletic Association, was averaging 21.9 points per game and had 37 steals in eight games this season. Langley, the Washington area’s Player of the Year at Dunbar High School in 1992-93, also sat out his freshman year at George Mason due to academics.
Also suspended was junior forward Kevin Ward, who had averaged 12.8 minutes in eight games this season.
