Chicago Police say 4 found dead at home on city’s South Side
CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities in Chicago are investigating the deaths of four people whose decomposing bodies were found inside a home on the city’s South Side.
Chicago Police spokeswoman Ana Pacheco tells The Associated Press that the investigation is continuing Sunday morning after the bodies were found at 8:25 p.m. Saturday in the 8300 block of South Drexel.
The Chicago Tribune (http://trib.in/1CJFRoz ) reports that police say the bodies were those of a woman and three children.
The Tribune reports that the home’s kitchen was charred from a fire. Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford says investigators aren’t sure when the fire occurred and it was never reported.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has confirmed at least four deaths, but has not identified the victims.
