Kootenai County detectives want to interview friends of Larry Isenberg

March 5, 2019

Detectives are seeking to interview friends of Larry Isenberg, who was found dead in Lake Coeur d’Alene in March 2018, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Isenberg’s body was found to contain lethal levels of diphenhydramine, a drug commonly sold under the brand name Benadryl.

His wife, Laurcene “Lori” Isenberg, is a suspect in his death and pleaded guilty in January to embezzling more than a half million dollars from the North Idaho Housing Coalition. Four of Isenberg’s daughters have pleaded guilty to receiving funds that she stole from the nonprofit.

In a Facebook post Monday, the sheriff’s office said anyone who was close with Larry Isenberg should contact Detective Kirk Kelso at (208) 446-2128 or kkelso@kcgov.us.
