‘Ball Cap Bandit’ suspected in 4 bank robberies arrested
LAKE PARK, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say they’ve arrested the “Ball Cap Bandit” suspected in four bank robberies in Florida.
An FBI news release says 37-year-old Rodrick Domonique Jones was arrested last week in Lake Park on federal bank robbery charges.
Investigators say Jones robbed two Chase branches located in Delray Beach and Stuart in 2016. Officials say he robbed the same Delray Beach bank again in 2017 and then the same Stuart bank again in 2018.
Jones was dubbed the “Ball Cap Bandit” because he wore baseball caps during the robberies.
