Police: 5-year-old found unresponsive pronounced dead
LAWRENCE, Mass. (AP) — Police in Massachusetts say the death of a 5-year-old boy found unresponsive in a home over the weekend is not considered suspicious.
Lawrence police say the boy was found unresponsive by officers responding to a medical call early Sunday morning. The Eagle-Tribune reports the boy was attending a family gathering with other adults and children.
The child was treated at the scene by emergency services, and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say foul play is not suspected and a medical condition may have been a factor.
