BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) _ Corey Best scored 24 points, and Keith Holdan hit all four of his foul shots in the last 18 seconds of overtime Saturday as Campbell defeated Central Florida 82-76.

The Camels (10-12 overall, 7-5 Trans America Athletic Conference) led 28-18 with 7:17 left in the first half, but Central Florida (7-16, 4-9) made a 15-4 run to take a 33-32 lead into the break.

A layup by Central Florida’s Tony Marlow tied the score at 68-68 with 1:18 left in the second half. Campbell’s Charles Davis blocked a jumper attempt by D’quarius Stewart as the clock wound down and George Miller rebounded to send the game into an extra period.

The teams traded the lead five times in overtime before Best hit a 3-pointer to give the Camels a 76-74 advantage with 55 seconds remaining.

Best added a pair of foul shots before Harry Kennedy hit a jumper to bring Central Florida to 78-76 with 21 seconds left.

Holdan added 19 points for Campbell. Davis had 14 points, while Miller pulled down nine rebounds.

Kennedy paced the Golden Knights with 20 points, including five 3-pointers. Brad Traina added 18, and Stewart scored 14. Tony Marlow contributed 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
