CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Ruth Hamblin had 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks to help No. 7 Oregon State beat Cal State Bakersfield 75-51 on Tuesday.
Jamie Weisner added 14 points and Deven Hunter had 11 for the Beavers (8-0), who went 10 for 25 from 3-point range.
Batabe Zempare had 14 points and eight rebounds, while Dajy Vines added 12 points for the Roadrunners (1-10).
Oregon State outrebounded Cal State Bakersfield 45-32. The Roadrunners were held to just 28 percent shooting, compared to 52 percent for the Beavers.
Oregon State led by as many as 30 in the fourth quarter.
NO. 11 FLORIDA STATE 79, MERCER 36
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Leticia Romero had 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, powering Florida State to the victory.
Romero made a career-high four 3-pointers as Florida State hit a season-high 10 from 3-point range.
Mercer pulled to 46-34 but Brittany Brown answered with a 3-pointer to spark a 9-0 run to close the third quarter.
Shakayla Thomas had 18 points for Florida State (8-2), which has won eight of its last nine games.
Kahlia Lawrence and Sydni Means scored nine points each for Mercer (6-4).
NO. 12 NORTHWESTERN 91, ALCORN STATE 47
EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) — Nia Coffey had 23 points and 17 rebounds, leading Northwestern to the runaway win.
Maggie Lyon scored 15 points for the Wildcats (10-0), and Ashley Deary and Christen Inman had 12 apiece. Lyon and Deary each had six assists, Deary had five steals and Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah had a career-high 13 rebounds.
Northwestern had 26 assists on 36 baskets and a 56-39 advantage on the boards.
Alcorn State (1-6), which shot just 28 percent, was led by Norianna Haynes with 20 points and 10 rebounds. She also had nine of the Lady Braves' 22 turnovers.
SOUTH DAKOTA STATE 88, NO. 16 DEPAUL 79
BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) — Macy Miller scored 19 points and Clarissa Ober had 15 points and 10 rebounds, helping South Dakota State to the victory.
South Dakota State (9-2) led 15 by at halftime. DePaul (7-4) pulled within five at 84-79 with 35 seconds remaining, but South Dakota State closed it out by hitting 4 of 6 from the free-throw line.
Madison Guebert scored 16 points and Kerri Young had eight assists for the Jackrabbits, who have defeated a Top 25 opponent in each of the last four seasons.
Chanise Jenkins scored 22 points for DePaul, and Megan Podkowa had 21 points.
