Jagr Sidelined by Thumb Injury

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) _ Jaromir Jagr missed the Washington Capitals’ game against Florida on Wednesday night because of a thumb injury.

Jagr, listed as day-to-day, was slashed on the left hand Tuesday night in a 5-0 victory at Atlanta.

The right wing played in all of Washington’s 31 previous games this season, scoring 12 goals and adding 21 assists.
