HANCOCK, Maine (AP) — Maine sheriff's deputies are looking for four pitbull puppies that were reported stolen from a home.

Jeffrey Long told police someone broke into his home in Hancock on Sunday afternoon and took four of his six puppies.

Long says his home was locked.

The puppies are 6 ½ weeks old. Three are black and white and one is a brownish, tawny color.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department is asking if anyone has information about the stolen puppies to call them.
