The Rev. Lynn Rothrock Celebrates 50 Years Of Service

The Rev Lynn Rothrock was recently honored at two Lutheran churches, St. John’s Church, 231 State St., Nanticoke and St. Mark’s Church, 285 Pond Hill Mountain Road, Wapwallopen, for his 50 years of pastoral service in the Lutheran church. A graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown and the Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, he has spent the majority of his years in ministry in the Wyoming Valley. He was pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shavertown and served nine years on the bishop’s staff of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod. Lately, he has served as part time interim pastor at numerous congregations in the area. For information, visit the NanticokeLutheran.org website.
