Investigators seek public’s help to identify person

FLORENCE, S.C. -- Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a person wanted for questioning in connection with a reported sexual assault.

The Aug. 24 incident took place on West Lucas Street in Florence, according to a release from the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with knowledge or information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the person is asked to contact investigators at (843) 665-2121, ext. 421, Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at 1-888-CRIME-SC or “Submit-A-Tip” on the sheriff’s office’s free app for ioPhone or Android telephones. You do not have to reveal your identity to leave information.
