Area Lions Club Murder Mystery to sell out soon
ASHLAND — Few tickets remain for the Ashland Lions Club’s fifth annual murder mystery dinner theater, scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, March 1 at the Ashland Transportation Center (99 15th St.). Belles, Bourbon & Belladonna will be the evening’s performance.
Belles, Bourbon & Belladonna is a Kentucky-themed mystery and a fight for family heritage. The Castle family has been distilling bourbon since 1878 and now the patriarch, Woodson Castle, is dying and must decide in whose hands to leave the Castle Distillery.
Castle’s three daughters and only son all desire to be heir to the family empire.
“We’d like to thank everyone who have already purchased tickets for supporting the Lions’ eyesight program, which provides eyeglasses and eye exams for those in need in our community,” said Ashland Lions Club President Kaecy Baisden. “For those who want to attend March 1, I suggest they purchase tickets soon as we near what is expected to be a fifth straight sellout. Our event’s popularity and the number of returning attendees speak to both the worthiness of the cause and the fun we’ll have March 1.”
Tickets to Belles, Bourbon & Belladonna include the show, dinner and a wine and beer reception beginning at 6 p.m. Following the reception, dinner and the murder mystery will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are $65 a person with ticket packages available for those who purchase table sponsorships. All proceeds benefit the Ashland Lions Club’s eyesight program. The club provides eye glasses and eye exams in Ashland to those in need.
