Man Accused of Carrying Crack Cocaine in Women’s Undergarments
GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) _ A man was arrested on drug charges after police found more than 125 vials of crack stuffed into the bra and panties he was wearing, police said.
Curtis Rock, 34, of Stamford was arrested Monday after police, acting on an anonymous tip, stopped a car in which he was a passenger, Deputy Police Chief Kenneth Moughty said.
During a search of the vehicle, police found 41 empty crack vials, Moughty said. The other vials were discoverd during a strip search at police headquarters, Moughty said.
He was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, destruction of evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia, Moughty said.
The car’s driver, Darryl Mayer, 47, of Stamford, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, Moughty said. He was also charged with driving without a license and given a written warning for failure to drive right.
Both men are due in court Aug. 23.
