Two Killed at Air Base
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) _ The U.S. Air Force said today that two Korean workmen were killed and a third was injured in the explosion of a 5,000-gallon fuel tank at Suwon Air Base, about 22 miles south of Seoul.
The Air Force said the accident occurred Saturday while routine maintenance was being carried out on the tank. Air Force authorities are investigating the cause of the blast.
Although Suwon is a South Korean air force facility, part of it is used by American units.
