GUATEMALA CITY (AP) _ Guatemala’s interior minister and education minister resigned Friday, the government announced.
Gustavo Adolfo Lopez Sandoval quit as interior minister, citing ″health resons″ for his decision, the announcement said. He will be replaced Monday by Carlos Guzman Estrada, who had been that agency’s vice minister.
Eugenia Tejada de Putzay resigned as education minister to pursue ″other work,″ and will be replaced next week by Aracely Judith Samayoa Godoy, the statement said.
The government released no other information on the changes.
