Meth reportedly found on man
NORFOLK — A Norfolk man wanted on an arrest warrant ended up getting arrested for drugs as well.
Capt. Mike Bauer said Norfolk police were called to the 300 block of West Prairie at 11:57 p.m. Sunday for a man with an active arrest warrant.
When officers arrived, they had contact with Salvador Uribe, 43, Norfolk.
Bauer said Uribe was placed under arrest for the Stanton County arrest warrant. During a subsequent search, officers reportedly recovered a small clear plastic baggie containing a white powdered substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Urbie was then arrested for possession of a controlled substance. He was held in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
