From the looks of it, storied singer/songwriter Neil Young is crossing quite a few items off his to-do list this year.

First of all, his solo tour brings him to the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox on Saturday.

Secondly, Young will release “Tuscaloosa,” part of his live archival series, on June 7.

The album, which can be pre-ordered now, is a previously unreleased collection of 11 songs from Young and the Stray Gators recorded live at the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa on Feb. 5, 1973.

The album will be available as a double album over three sides with etched artwork on the fourth side, on CD and high resolution digital audio via Neil Young Archives.

Then, there’s the new album with Crazy Horse Young hopes to release this fall.

“We believe we have a great Crazy Horse album, one to stand alongside ‘Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere,’ ‘Sleeps with Angels,’ ‘Psychedelic Pill’ and all the others,” Young wrote on his website. “Untitled at this moment, our Crazy Horse album… stands as one of our most diverse albums I have ever made and I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

Finally, there’s his latest book, “To Feel the Music: A Songwriter’s Quest to Save High-Quality Audio,” which is available for pre-order and is set to be released Sept. 9.

“The issue of improving audio quality has been one of the most important things we’ve been doing for decades, and something I focus on every day,” Young wrote on his website.
