Lawrence County grand jury indicts 46

IRONTON — A Lawrence County grand jury has returned 46 indictments including six sealed drug indictments, according to the office of Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson.

James Mills, 39, of Township Road 1361, Chesapeake, was indicted on charges of rape, domestic violence and violation of a protection order.

Keenan Brody Rowe, 19, of the 1400 block of South 2nd Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of burglary.

Marcum Murphy, 30, of the 600 block of South 8th Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of felonious assault.

Danny R. Stickler, 19, of the 1400 block of South 2nd Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of burglary.

Savannah N. Jenkins, 30, of the 2600 block of 5th Street, Ironton, was indicted on charge of trafficking in drugs (meth) and aggravated possession of drugs.

James D. Cade, 40, of the 1100 block of South 4th Street, Ironton, was indicted on charges of trafficking in drugs (meth), possession of cocaine and aggravated possession of drugs.

Donald R. Large, 39, of the 100 block of North Street, Coal Grove, was indicted on a charge of burglary.

Samuel Butler, 51, of County Road 35, Chesapeake, was indicted on a charge of failure to notify of change of address or place of employment.

Breanna J. Boggess, 30, of the 1700 block of South 4th Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of burglary.

Richard L. Sharp, 55, of the 1000 block of North 3rd Street, Ironton, was indicted on charges of possession of drugs (meth), having weapons while under disability, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Joseph Gardner, 31, of Powell Lane, Flatwoods, Kentucky, was indicted on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drugs (meth) and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

Jordan B. Hinkle, 19, of Winchester, Kentucky, was indicted on a charge of intimidation.

Damien Fox, 33, of Township Road 109, South Point, was indicted on domestic violence.

Walter W. Brewer II, 53, of County Road 124, Chesapeake, was indicted on charges of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, having weapons while under disability (being a felon in possession of a firearm), possession of heroin and possession of drugs (meth).

James R. Brewer, 31, of Campground Road, Waterloo, was indicted on a charge of escape.

William J. Grant, 39, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was indicted on charges of trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs.

Franklin C. Aldridge, 36, of the 800 block of South 7th Street, Ironton, was indicted on charges of failure to appear and aggravated possession of drugs (fentanyl).

Corey E. Thomas, 31, of Township Road 1175, Proctorville, was indicted on charges of resisting arrest, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and disorderly conduct.

Melvin J. Cade, 39, no address listed, was indicted on a charge of failure to appear.

Charles Bartrum Jr., 27, of Ohio 522, Pedro, was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property.

Shawn Sagraves, 28, of County Road 15, South Point, was indicted on a charge of failure to appear.

Timothy R. Kearns, 42, of Elkview, West Virginia, was indicted on charges of receiving stolen property and identity fraud.

Rudolph Prince, 35, of Lucerine Lane, Greenup, Kentucky, was indicted on two counts of possession of drugs (meth).

Nicholas Hazelett, 35, of Grapevine Road, Huntington, was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property.

Michelle L. Patrick, also known as Ross, 44, of County Road 1, South Point, was indicted on a charge of possession of heroin.

Teresa L. Marshall, 52, of Township Road 208, Ironton, was indicted on charges of possession of heroin and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Nathan L. Craft, 41, of Gainsway Drive, Worthington, Kentucky, was indicted on charges of possession of heroin, possession of a controlled substance (suboxone) and possession of marijuana.

Elissa M. Adkins, 27, of Harts, West Virginia, was indicted on a charge of possession of heroin.

Wayland Riffe, 24, of County Road 22, Ironton, was indicted on charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crystal Bailey, 41, of the 1300 block of 28th Street, Huntington, was indicted on a charge of possession of drugs (meth).

Amanda L. Sparks, 30, of Haney Lane, Grayson, Kentucky, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (meth).

Tiffany S. Rudmann, 36, of the 200 block of Center Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of possession of drugs (meth).

Shane R. Haney, 32, of the 2100 block of South 3rd Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of possession of drugs (meth).

Travis R. Gibson, 46, of Wyoming, W.Va., was indicted on a charge of possession of drugs (meth).

Barry T. Hemphill, 26, of Pinehurst, N.C., was indicted on charges of possession of drugs (meth) and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Bridgett N. Ellis, 37, of County Road 144, South Point, was indicted on a charge of possession of drugs (meth).

Michelle D. Brandenburg, 27, of Township Road 1336, South Point, was indicted on a charge of possession of cocaine.

Claude D. Allen, 26, of County Road 52, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of possession of drugs (meth).

Martin H. Benicker, 60, of the 2500 block of South 9th Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of possession of drugs (meth).

Thomas E. Carpenter, 20, of Township Road 141, Willow Wood, was indicted on a felony charge of vandalism.

An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
