INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 62-50) won 2-0 at Toledo (Tigers). CF Jason Martin (.261) went 1 for 4 with a solo home run. 3B Max Moroff (.239) went 2 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs. RHP J.T. Brubaker (7-3, 3.24 ERA) went eight innings, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out six and walking none.

Next: Sunday at Toledo (Tigers), 6:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 58-50) lost 9-8 at home against Akron (Indians). DH Jordan George (.292) went 2 for 5 with two home runs and three RBIs. 2B Stephen Alemais (.277) went 2 for 3 with a double, two walks and three RBIs.

Next: Sunday vs. Akron (Indians), 6 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 49-55) lost 1-0 at home against Clearwater (Phillies). C Jason Delay (.267) went 1 for 2 with a walk. CF Jared Oliva (.283) has Bradenton’s other hit. RHP Evan Piechota (0-2, 4.94 ERA) went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out four and walking one.

WEST VIRGINIA (Low-A, 56-51) won 8-2 at home against Augusta (Giants). LF Fabricio Macias (.216) went 2 for 4 with a three-run home run and four RBIs. C Deon Stafford (.258) went 1 for 4 with two-run homer. LHP Domingo Robles (9-6, 2.97 ERA) went five innings, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out three and walking one.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short Season-A, 17-31) lost 5-2 at Williamsport (Phillies) in Game 1 of a doubleheader. CF Travis Swaggerty (.286) went 1 for 2 with a double, walk and run scored. LF Daniel Amaral (.231) went 1 for 4 with a triple and RBI. RHP Mike LoPresti (1-3, 5.29 ERA) went four innings, allowing three runs on eight hits while striking two and walking two. In Game 2, West Virginia lost 1-0. RF Michael De La Cruz (.241) had one of West Virginia’s four hits. RHP Francis Del Orbe (3-2, 4.11 ERA) went four innings, allowing one run on two hits while striking out four and walking one.
