James Fitzpatrick Loses Sex Suit
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) _ Ex-soap star James Fitzpatrick must pay $166,272 in damages to a Planet Hollywood employee who sued him for allegedly fondling her at a party.
Federal Judge Stanley Brotman said in a decision issued July 20 that the former ``All My Children″ star should compensate Debra Huron for emotional distress and the harm the incident caused her marriage.
Fitzpatrick never showed up in court to contest the lawsuit, The Press of Atlantic City reported.
Huron said in her suit that Fitzpatrick was caught on a security camera in the restaurant’s back office in Atlantic City grabbing her and trying to pull down her blouse and slip his hands inside her bra.
Fitzpatrick was in Atlantic City with other ABC soap stars for a New Jersey Special Olympics Benefit on April 21, 1996.
Fitzpatrick lost his job with ``All My Children″ two days later after Capital Cities/ABC officials viewed the videotape.
