FBI seeks alleged bank robber with unique tattoo

A man with a unique tattoo that reads “GHETTO” is being sought in connection with a bank robbery.

The FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force reports that the man robbed the Regions Bank at 5221 Westheimer Road at 11:47 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17.

According to the FBI, “The suspect entered the bank and approached a teller. The suspect made a verbal demand for cash while also presenting a threatening note to the teller. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No physical injuries were reported.”

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a large black jacket, black pants, a black beanie cap and black sunglasses. He was carrying a black messenger bag. His tattoo on the side of his neck reads “GHETTO” in “black, outlined, capital block letters.”

Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of this robber.
