Businesses gather for Small Business Saturday bonanza
The icy weather froze attendance at the JSPA Sale Bonanza on Saturday at Laurel View Village. Spokesperson Tina Cox said many businesses were not able to attend. This was the fifth year for the event, which pairs nonprofits with small businesses on Small Business Saturday. Some of those organizations in attendance were Nardecchia Spay Neuter Fund, Helping Hearts & Healing Tails Animal Rescue and Safe Guards 4 Her. The next showcase to support small businesses will be April 6 at the banquet halls of Fresh Harvest Restaurant in Laurel View Village from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any small business owners can contact JSPASalesBonanza.org or call or text Cox at 814-442-7059.
