City auction set for Wednesday

July 10, 2018

NORFOLK - The annual Norfolk City Auction is set to take place Wednesday.

Norfolk Police Captain Mike Bauer says not only will the Police Division be cleaning out its evidence room, but also multiple city divisions are adding things to the auction.

Bauer says some of the items on hand include a Y2K generator, an upright freezer, and computer stations.

He says payment will be accepted in only cash or check and once the auction is over you will have one hour to load your purchases.

Bauer says the money from the auction will go to the City’s general budget, but any money from items sold by the Police Division, by Nebraska State Statute goes to the Norfolk Public Schools system.

It’s set for Wednesday afternoon at 4 at 708 McKinley Avenue right across from the Ta-Ha-Zouka softball complex.
