Man killed in crash was driving stolen truck
WARNER, N.H. (AP) — Police say a New Hampshire man who was killed in a high-speed crash was driving a stolen pickup truck.
The Concord Monitor reports 30-year-old Tyler Osgood died Saturday night while driving a truck that was reported missing Sunday morning.
Concord police Lt. Sean Ford says the truck was last seen at a business in Concord, and its owner told police the building’s rear door was forced open and a window was broken.
Authorities say Osgood was driving the truck when he hit a guardrail on Interstate 89 in Warner.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Ford says there was no police chase before the crash, and authorities didn’t know until after the crash that the truck was stolen.
