Police say 2 young kids fatally struck by car in Brooklyn
NEW YORK (AP) — Police say two young children were killed and two others were injured when they were struck by a car in Brooklyn.
It happened at 12:40 p.m. Monday on Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue in Park Slope.
Police say the victims were taken to Methodist Hospital where a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old were pronounced dead. Two 34-year-old women, one of whom may have been pregnant, were listed in stable condition.
Police say the 44-year-old woman who was driving the car did not flee. She is being questioned and police say she may have had a medical condition.
No other details were immediately available.
