Missouri man faces murder charge in Sikeston shooting death
SIKESTON, Mo. (AP) — A Cape Girardeau man has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of another man in Sikeston.
Nineteen-year-old Shamar Lowe was arrested Thursday and charged in the April 23 death of 27-year-old Marcus De’Andres Price.
The Sikeston Standard-Democrat reports Sikeston police found Price unresponsive from a gunshot wound in front of his home. Witnesses said Price was shot shortly after he left the house when he was confronted by two men who approached him on foot. The two suspects fled the scene.
