TOKYO (AP) _ Flights on All Nippon Airways were delayed across Japan Friday after the carrier's computer reservation system broke down, officials said.

The early-morning glitch in ANA's computer system at Tokyo's main domestic airport lasted more than two hours and caused delays of up to three hours for domestic passengers flying Japan's second-largest airline, according to airport officials.

The delays rippled through ANA's schedule as the country began a three-day weekend.

Friday's problem only involved ANA's computer system at Haneda for domestic flights and did not affect international passengers, said Takako Koizumi, who handles international flight reservations for the airline.

The cause of the glitch was not immediately known, she said.
