Police: Armored Car Driver Stole $56,000 In Cash

Hanover Twp. police charged an armored car driver with stealing a bag containing $56,000 in cash on Wednesday.

Police charged Isaiah A. Mussenden, 21, of Tobyhanna with felony counts of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Mussenden, who was employed as a driver of armored vehicles by GardaWorld Cash Management Services, stole the money bag while loading his truck for deliveries, police said in a news release. The money bag was recovered inside Mussenden’s personal vehicle, police said.

Mussenden was arraigned Thursday and released on $25,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 15.
