Teddy Bear Clinic at Greenwich Hospital draws big crowd
GREENWICH — A good time was had by all at the “Teddy Bear Clinic” at Greenwich Hospital this weekend.
The event broke a record for attendance: more than 1,825 children and parents took part in Greenwich Hospital’s 20th annual Teddy Bear Clinic. The clinic lets kids learn and explore medicine and health in a fun way.
“The Teddy Bear Clinic is a great way for children to learn about hospital services in a child-friendly environment. It’s become an annual tradition for many families,” said Diane Kelly, RN, DNP, Greenwich Hospital’s chief operating officer, in a statement released by the hospital.
Twenty hospital departments were represented, including emergency, maternity, pediatrics, respiratory services, surgery, pharmacy, cancer prevention, orthopedics, cardiology and more.
