EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Nets guard Kendall Gill will be out indefinitely with tendinitis in his right knee.

Gill was to meet with team doctors Thursday night.

``We want to go over a plan of action so I can play the way I want to play,'' said Gill, who signed a one-year, $7 million contract in the offseason.

He has pain when he jumps or tries to push off.

``This has hurt me big-time,'' Gill said. ``I should be able to dominate guys but I can't. That's what hurts the most because I make my living on defense. I don't want to continue playing the way I have been playing because it's embarrassing.''

Gill missed four games early this month with the same problem.

A 10-year pro, Gill is averaging 9.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.57 steals playing 29.4 minutes. He's making just 32.8 percent of his field goals.
