Terrytown man accused of threatening woman, teen with a knife
A Terrytown man is accused of threatening a 50-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl with a knife on New Year’s Eve.
Mario Plenty Arrow, 47, has been charged with terroristic threats, a Class IIIA felony; use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, a Class II felony; and resisting arrest, a Class I misdemeanor.
According to an arrest affidavit, police responded to a home on Terry Boulevard, where a 14-year-old girl told police Plenty Arrow had threatened her with a knife. The girl told police he was holding the knife when he approached her and she said she ran into a bedroom, locked the door and called police.
When the officer arrived, Plenty Arrow allegedly did not comply with commands and pulled away as an officer attempted to arrest him. The officer used a Taser.
The arrest affidavit said it had been reported that the man had threatened two people, with a 50-year-old woman also in the home.
The officer said in the arrest affidavit that he recovered a knife matching the description in the kitchen area.
Plenty Arrow appeared Wednesday in Scotts Bluff County Court. His bond was set at $45,000. He is next scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8.
