Mark E. Guimond, 66, of Kankakee, passed away Monday (Feb. 25, 2019) at Palos Hospital in Palos Heights.
He was born April 16, 1952, in Kankakee, the son of Armand and Sylvia (Denoyer) Guimond.
Mark was a graduate of Bishop McNamara High School in Kankakee. He enjoyed fishing. Mark was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and adored being their grandpa. He loved his time spent at Tiny Tap.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Grant and Brittany Guimond, of Arvada, Colo.; one grandson, Brooks Guimond; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bill Sikora, of Plainfield; and good friend, Andre Guimond.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Lee Guimond; and two sisters, Gwynth Lamb and Sharon Blewitt.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, until the 11 a.m. memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley, with the Rev. Anthony Nugent officiating.
