NICKEL PLATE CORRIDOR

FISHERS, Ind. _ Federal regulators have ruled in favor of a plan to convert central Indiana’s Nickel Plate Railroad corridor into a recreational trail. The Federal Surface Transportation Board issued three interim trail use notices last week for segments of the railway in Noblesville, Fishers and Indianapolis. The cities want to convert the line into a multi-use pedestrian and bicycle trail. SENT: 130 words.

_ SHOWBOAT FOR SALE: CINCINNATI _ The city of Cincinnati is looking to sell the Showboat Majestic, a 95-year-old riverboat that was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1989. Cincinnati paid $5,000 for the boat back in 1967, obtaining it from Indiana University. With Photo.

_ MEDICAL HELICOPTER SERVICE: Indiana University Health is relocating its medical helicopter to a new home base in the coming months.
