Dundee appoints Brown as fulltime manager
DUNDEE, Scotland (AP) — Interim Dundee manager John Brown has been given the job fulltime after guiding the club to only one loss in seven matches.
Brown was appointed on a temporary basis following Barry Smith’s departure in February and has now agreed to a two-year contract.
Dundee is 10 points adrift at the bottom of the Scottish Premier League and could be relegated after it faces Hearts at home on Saturday.
Brown says “I had some great times here as a player and it is fantastic that I now have the chance to manage what I believe is one of Scotland’s top clubs.”
