Close to two-thirds of Democrats say it’s appropriate for candidates seeking the party’s 2020 presidential nomination to participate in Fox News town halls, according to a poll released Wednesday.

Sixty-four percent of Democrats said it’s appropriate, compared to 17 percent who said it’s inappropriate, according to the Politico/Morning Consult poll.

Overall, 61 percent of voters said it’s appropriate and 15 percent said it’s inappropriate.

South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg participated in a Fox News town hall on Sunday, following 2020 rivals like Sens. Bernard Sanders and Amy Klobuchar who have as well. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is scheduled to participate in one next month.
