BULLHEAD CITY — Phoenix police have yet to provide information about how the manhunt for a homicide suspect has progressed.
Police did release information about the Phoenix incident that prompted a search Sunday in and around Bullhead City’s Rotary Park by law enforcement from the Bullhead City Police Department, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and area personnel from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. A helicopter was used in the search in addition to manpower on the ground.
Damon Ravi Grimes, 38, of Phoenix, was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound on Saturday afternoon by family members at a location in the 3500 block of Lupine Avenue in west Phoenix.
Silent Witness in Phoenix issued a report over the weekend about the incident. It included no suspect information, but did note that the investigation was continuing.
The Bullhead City Police Department would not comment on the incident. Spokeswoman Emily Fromelt referred inquiries to DPS and Phoenix Police.
The Phoenix Police Department provided the Silent Witness release but added no further details as of Monday evening.
