Anderson Brothers Bank donates $10,000 to Red Cross for Hurricane Florence flood relief in SC
MULLINS, S.C. – In response to the massive flooding as a result of Hurricane Florence, Anderson Brothers Bank donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross Eastern S.C. Chapter.
An account for Nichols Disaster Recovery is still active at Anderson Brothers Bank for anyone interested in making donations. Helping people affected by Hurricane Florence with a donation enables the preparation for, response to and helping people recover from disaster.
The American Red Cross helps people in emergencies no matter the number of lives involved.
“We have over 200 volunteers in South Carolina from Alaska, Orlando, New Orleans and Chicago and everywhere in between,” said Amy Brauner, executive director with American Red Cross. “Volunteers not only provide support at our shelters but have also been delivering hot meals across Eastern South Carolina to families affected by the flooding waters, first responders and within our shelters.”
