Danny Bonaduce To Wait Tables at Diner
PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Actor, singer, disc jockey, comedian, and now a waiter?
Former ″Partridge Family″ star Danny Bonaduce’s resume can include all of the above with his latest endeavor.
Bonaduce, 32, is a minority partner in the Starlight Diner scheduled to open in March.
The diner is located across from the Aztec Club, where Bonaduce does stand- up on Fridays. But on Sunday and Monday nights diners may give their orders to Bonaduce. If that isn’t enough, he already works five mornings a week for radio station WEGX.
″Idle hands are the devil’s work,″ Bonaduce told The Philadelphia Inquirer in explaining his crowded schedule. ″I like to be as busy as possible because it keeps me out of trouble.″
His wife, Gretchen, will join him in his new venture as a cashier.
″Temptation doesn’t arise when Gretchen’s around,″ said Bonaduce, a recovering drug and alcohol abuser.
″In all seriousness, I absolutely expect tips. When Dale (Lalwani, the diner’s owner) rings that bell behind the counter, I intend to jump.″
