Ailken Sertoma Club makes donation to Project Lifesaver

The Aiken Sertoma Club recently presented a $2,000 donation to Project Lifesaver.

Project Lifesaver is a program offered by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, Aiken Department of Public Safety and North Augusta Department of Public Safety in cooperation.

Its purpose is to protect and locate individuals who wander because of Alzheimer’s, autism and other related conditions or disorders.

Project Lifesaver provides small transmitters to citizens that help specially trained teams quickly find and return wandering adults and children to their families and caregivers.
