Sterin’s 37 Sparks Billerica to MVC Win

Justin Sterin won his match 4&2 and was the medalist at 1-over 37 as Billerica beat Haverhill, 12.5-7.5, in an MVC golf match at the Country Club of Billerica.

Elsewhere, Shawsheen Tech defeated Greater Lowell Tech, 98-44, in a Commonwealth Athletic Conference golf match held at Patriot Golf Course in Bedford.

Posting wins for the Indians (3-3) were Matt Tucker (1-up), Jason Babineau (1-up), Sterin (4&2), Garrett Murphy (2&1) and Jack Hutchings (2-up).

Teaming up for best ball victories were the teams of Babineau and Sterin (2-up) and Murphy and Colin Cameron (1-up).

Tucker and DJ Fantasia halved thier best ball match.
