FREMONT — Services for Lavila G. Kumm, 91, Fremont, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Dan Heuer will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
She died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Nye Legacy.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church.
Lavila G. Kumm was born Oct. 13, 1926, on a farm northeast of Osmond, to Henry and Hattie (Koehler) Schumacher.
Survivors include her sons, Rodney (Elaine) Kumm of St. Louis, Mo., Alan (Sandy) Kumm of Fremont, Terry Kumm (and friend Carla Bowers) of Fremont, David (Lynne) Kumm of Seward; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-granddaughters; a stepgreat-great-granddaughter; four great-great-granddaughters; a sister-in-law, Elaine (Lloyd) Timmerman of Osmond; her brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Norma) Kumm of Bloomfield, Milford (Hattie) Kumm of Osmond, Robert (LaVerne) Kumm of Lincoln and Gary Koeppe of Norfolk.
Lavila was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Harland in 2008; a daughter, Carol in 1990; a sister, Lois Koeppe; a great-granddaughter, McKenzy; and a grandson-in-law, Glenn Seely.
