UPCOMING TODAY:

REFINERY-NATIONAL PARK

BISMARCK, N.D. — North Dakota’s Health Department did not improperly discount its own concerns about pollution from a proposed oil refinery near Theodore Roosevelt National Park when it permitted the project earlier this year, attorneys for the agency and for the developer argue. By Blake Nicholson. UPCOMING: 450 words, photo.

CON ARTIST-FALSE IDENTITY

FARGO, N.D. — Federal prosecutors in North Dakota say a man convicted in 2012 for his role in a massive credit card fraud pulled off another scheme: He lied about who he was to get a lesser sentence. Now he’s on trial again. By Dave Kolpack. Upcoming in chunky text format.
