Beaulieu, Hurynowicz Spark Tyngsboro

Ella Beaulieu struck out 11 and Katie Hurynowicz paced the offense by going 4-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBI to lead Tyngsboro past Quabbin, 8-2, in a home Mid-Wach victory.

Elsewhere, Shawsheen Tech and Wilmington picked up victories.

Also contributing to the win was Rachel Souza, who went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, while Grace Chartier went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI.

Brenna Thirkell had a good game defensively behind the plate for Tyngsboro.

Maddy Ferreira went 2-for-3 with an RBI, but the Grey Ghosts dropped the DCL decision at home.

Lily Geller went 1-for-1 with 2 RBI and Gigi Ottaviano went 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Also starring for WA were Maiya Boyer (1-for-2), Madelyn Boyer (1-for-1) and Katie Chiasson (1-for-3).

The Rams won their third game in a row to improve to 4-4 overall. Sandra Watne went the distance on the mound, with 12 strikeouts, walking 1 and scattering 5 hits.

Offensively she was helped out by Bella Richard, who had 2 hits, including a 3-run home run, while Kayla Mirisola had a 2-run single.

Christina Clark threw 7 innings, striking out 11 and scattering 2 hits in Burlington’s Middlesex League home victory.

She lowered her season ERA to .247 in 28.1 innings pitched. Clark went 4-for-4 at the plate, raising her average to .560.

Alexis Charbonneau and Kaira Chase both went 2-for-3 with a RBI in the losing effort.

Ally Moran struck out 12 to pitch the Wildcats to victory.

In the top of the third, after Kacie Bourrell reached on an error and Jenna Sweeney reached on a bunt, Ashley Crawford drove in a pair with a double to left center to pace the Wildcats.

Bella Kieran later hit her own double to plate Crawford. In the fourth, Kacie Bourrell executed a safety squeeze to score Gianna Brunetto.

Second baseman Jenna Sweeney led the way defensively with 6 putouts.

Groton-Dunstable swept

The Crusaders fell 19-5 and then 13-0 to Nashoba Regional in Groton.

In the first game, Emma Wilson had 3 hits, knocked in 2 runs and scored a run. She also played well at shortstop. Jenna Beauchain went 1-for-2.

In the second game, Whitney Ellis went 2-for-2.
