October 4, 2018

North Platte police are looking for a man after residents reported a drive-by shooting last week.

Just before 2:15 a.m. Friday, officers responded to the 2000 block of West 20th Street, where a resident reported having heard gunshots outside, said police Public Information Officer Beth Kerr.

A witness told police they had seen the incident and had it on video, Kerr said in an email.

At the time, it didn’t appear that anything was struck by bullets. However, police later found bullet holes in a nearby residence, Kerr said.

Investigation led police to find probable cause to arrest Charles Robinson, 22. He is wanted on suspicion of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.
